This fall, fitness is my goal by : JENEÉ OSTERHELDT

Fall is upon us, and the holiday season is coming soon — candy, home-cooked meals and family gatherings. It’s also that
time of year when many of us start to slack off on working out in favor of warm nights cuddled up on the couch. Wait a
minute. That sounds like my summer: Three Musketeer Truffle Crisp, burgers and enough baby showers and birthdays to
make me a Hallmark regular. The only exercising I did this summer was the Komen Race for the Cure and a few nights on
the dance floor with the girls. I don’t know when it happened, but I’ve fallen out of my fitness routine. No more Pilates,
power walks or eating healthy. I dumped my Wii Fit for sunny days by the pool. Ironically, I haven’t gained much weight.
So it took my dog and a move to bring it to my attention.
